Host for the 49^th anniversary of my apprentice entry

 49 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Once an apprentice always an apprentice as friends from the 303 craft apprentice entry of 1965 gather for an informal get together in Historic Newark – on – Trent to celebrate and plan the 50th anniversary next year – THE MOVIE NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION – the music says it all

 

Intrepid photographers visit Newark Air Museum as final day of 49th Anniversary

Gerry and John remember days at Gutersloh with the Hunters and Archie settles for a retro departure aboard his own personal means of transport, relives that Steve McQueen moment and Teresa supervises the morning tea break - and so we all depart to the four corners of the UK - plans are in place for the 50th after a positive meeting at Zizzis followed by lunch - watch many media outlets as your committee prepare for next year - cheers for now

Music – booked to see the Eagles
Sport – booked to see the Harlem Globe trotters
Outdoor projects – shelter for the Executive BBQ/lighting system for the garden
Become a school governor
Jazz weekend in May

NOVEMBER

Santas Special Elfer has come up with a wonderful project for Christmas – a Christmas tree with a difference – yes use odds and ends as per usual – so with the help of the Creative Innovator and the Profit Negotiator the process has begun – pictures to follow when construction starts – but as a taster how about a redundant gazebo, a piece of wood and some coat hangers

 

Not to be outdone Cultural Pursuits has come up with a special ticket to watch the EAGLES at the O2 in June 2014 – that’s what you call one upmanship ( could well be the last tour in this country)

 

The movie script template is complete – just need to create 7 pages – how difficult can that be for JWW4! – and then submit it to the appropriate body – hey – keeps me busy

Still working with a national association to increase their member take up
